We love getting to know more about the people behind the restaurants we visit. With our Meet the Locals dinner @ Bomba coming up, we caught up with Kelly O'Loghlen – partner and front of house manager at the popular city tapas bar, for a quick-fire round of 'What's your favourite?'

Kelly is no stranger to the world of Melbourne hospitality having earned his stripes at Circa and The Prince before moving to London. Upon his return to Melbourne he worked front of house at Taxi Dining Room before becoming GM at The Aylesbury and Añada. In late 2013 Kelly and fellow partners Shane, Andrew and Jesse opened Bomba! We are very glad they did, we are calling it... best Spanish food in Melbourne.

What's your favourite:
Food: Natural oysters
Drink: Either a crisp, cold Estrella Galicia or a glass of Meursault, preferably from Leflaive
Cuisine: Spanish of course! if I had to choose another, I love the cuisine of the south of France.
Eatery: Never had a bad meal at France Soir in Toorak, my favourite meal of all time was at El- Celler De Can Roca in Girona last year.
Bar: Black Pearl in Fitzroy, there is no better bar in the world.
